Beyond Darklands

Pups at Darklands

All the pup stuff I found in the festival guide, in one place

Beyond Darklands 2026 / March 3-9 / Antwerp

Scroll

Hey pup

I went through the Beyond Darklands festival guide and pulled out all the pup and furry stuff I could find so you don't have to dig through 150+ pages yourself. Camp K9, PupSoccer, the Puppy Walk, The Stables, the EU Puppy & Handler Contest and more. I might have missed something though, so if you notice anything that should be on here, please let me know!

I also put together a schedule with just the events I thought were most relevant for pups, plus some tips if this is your first time. Nothing official, just one pup trying to make it easier for other pups to find the good stuff.

This is not an official Darklands page. I'm just an attendee who wanted to have all the pup info in one spot. For the full official program, check darklands.be

Pup Stuff

The pup and furry things I found in the guide

Camp K9

The pup hangout spot. Kennel-inspired play area, ball pool, pup-friendly facilities. This is where you'll find most of the pup community throughout the day.

Run by volunteers from European Puppy & Handler (epahc.eu). Great place to pup out, take a break from the parties, or just meet the pack. Mr-S-Leather sponsors it.

Thu 4-8pm / Fri-Sat 1-8pm / Sun 1-6pm
Community Zone, Waagnatie

Puppy & Handler Walk

The annual parade through the streets of Antwerp. Hundreds of pups, pets and handlers walking together. Basically impossible to miss.

Starts at Falconplein (in front of Mister B Antwerp), group photo at MAS (Museum aan de Stroom) around 12pm, ends at Waagnatie. This is such a cool experience.

Sat 7 March, 11am - 12:30pm
Start: Falconplein / End: Waagnatie

PupSoccer

4th edition! Teams of 3 pups, but solo sign-ups are welcome too. Physical activity + friendly competition + fetish play.

Dresscode: puphood and sportswear. Preliminary rounds on Friday, final rounds on Saturday. Sign up at pupsoccer.net/signup. Even if you don't play, watching from the sidelines is super fun.

Fri 1-3pm (prelims) / Sat 1-2:30pm (finals)
Waagnatie

The Stables

Home of the furry community. Open to anyone, not just fur suit wearers. A welcoming zone where human and animal instincts meet.

Wolves, foxes, neon hybrids, toony characters - you'll find all sorts here. They have roomy lockers for bulky gear and cooling fans. Sponsored by Weredog.

Thu 4-8pm / Fri-Sat 1-8pm / Sun 1-6pm
Community Zone, Waagnatie

EU Puppy & Handler Contest

The contest that connects pups, pets and handlers from across Europe. Come cheer for the contestants or just watch the show.

Last year Pup Khao was elected European Puppy and Stefano as European Handler. Whether you're new or a longtime member of the pack - come celebrate with us.

Sat 5:50pm (Round 1) / Sun 1:15pm + 1:55pm (Rounds 2-3) / Sun 5:45pm (Finale)
Main Stage, Waagnatie

Tips for Pups

Some things I wish I knew before going

Dress Code

Minimum is jeans and a dark t-shirt (fetish brand is a plus). Most go further - leather, rubber, sportswear, pup gear, neoprene, underwear. Express whatever turns you on.

Pup Gear Basics

Bring your hood if you have one. If not, the gear market has amazing vendors. Camp K9 has space to gear up and cool down. You don't need a full outfit to join in - just bring yourself.

Consent is Everything

Always ask before touching, petting, or engaging. "No" means no. If you see something that doesn't look right, speak up or find staff. Kink Responsibly is a core value here.

What to Bring

Phone + charger, cash & card, ID/ticket/wristband, water bottle, earplugs for parties, comfortable shoes for daytime, and your party outfit for nighttime. Lockers are available.

Don't Be Shy

Everyone was new once. Camp K9 is a great place to start - pups and handlers are some of the friendliest people you'll meet. Join the Puppy Walk on Saturday to meet the whole community.

Take Care of Yourself

It's a marathon, not a sprint. Stay hydrated, eat properly, rest when you need to. The Kink Responsibly team is there if you need support. Your mental health and well-being come first.

It's okay to be shy

Darklands can feel overwhelming, especially your first time. The lights, the sounds, the outfits, the energy. It's a lot. And that's completely fine.

You don't have to be loud. You don't have to talk to everyone. You don't have to know what you're doing. Half of us are just as nervous as you are, even if we don't look like it. I'll be super shy myself, trust me.

Go at your own pace. Sit in Camp K9 and watch. Walk around and take it all in. Or just stand in a corner and vibe. There's no wrong way to experience this. You showed up, and that already takes courage.

You belong here. We're happy you came.
